Here are some ideas to help get you started.
Choosing colors: think of what the environment will look like. It's best to either compliment it or contrast it vs clash with your surroundings. Neutral and earthy tones always look good almost no matter the backdrop (creams/beiges, browns, greens and tans). You can also add a pop of contrasting color in there such as a mustard yellow, sky blue. or even some burnt orange.
Extra tips: be careful with prints, logos and bright colors as they can be distracting and or cause color casting on the skin. Another is to avoid full on matching: find complimentary outfits that showcase a variety of textures and colors without all looking the same (unless that's your goal, these are your photos). An easy way to choose how to dress everyone is to figure out first what flatters you. What color/s are in your outfit, then work the family around that and boom, it will all come together!
